5. Craig Gordon

Sunderland bought Craig Gordon from Hearts in 2007 for a then British record fee for a goalkeeper, £9 million.

Gordon acquired 40 caps for Scotland but a series of injuries meant the goalkeeper, who's save against Bolton was voted the best ever in the Premier League era, from realising his full potential. 

If he can get over his injury problems, Gordon would be a good addition to a lot of teams.
