Once labelled the 'next David Beckham', things haven't quite worked out for Bentley.

In 2008, Tottenham paid a then club record £17 million to sign Bentley from Blackburn, for whom he had scored a memorable hat-trick against Manchester United and been called up to the England squad from.

Bentley showed glimpses of his talent at Spurs, including a 40 yard screamer away to Arsenal, but after several loan spells was released from the club.

If Bentley can show some of the form he is certainly capable of he would be an excellent addition to some Premier League sides.
