Team GB star Joel Freeland believes the Portland Trail Blazers have a 'great' starting lineup and a rotation that compliments the team perfectly.
Speaking to GiveMeSport on Tuesday, the Trail Blazers center paid tribute to the likes of Dorell Wright and Mo Williams - players who have been integral to the Blazers hot start this season.
"We have a team that complements each other," Freeland said. "We have a great starting lineup and we have people that come off the bench and make a difference.
"Dorell Wright can make those threes, Mo Williams can come in and run the court and run the team in general. I think that's the main reason for our success at the moment."
The Trail Blazers sit second in the Western Conference after a blistering start to the season. They're currently 10-2 and on an eight-game winning streak following last night's 91-82 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
On a personal level, Freeland is benefitting from improved minutes this season. He was named as the team's back-up center by coach Terry Stotts at the start of the season - ahead of 2012 lottery pick Meyers Leonard.
Against the Bucks he logged 16:28 minutes, collecting five rebounds and two points on the night as a stand-in for Robin Lopez.
