Nemanja Vidic's agent has dismissed speculation linking his client with a move to Serie A giants Roma, reports La Roma 24.
The 32-year-old Manchester United captain has been continuously linked with a move to Italy over the last couple of years - with Juventus said to be long-term admirers of the Red Devils star.
Vidic's current deal runs out at the season, which has heightened speculation that he could be set to end his eight-year star at Old Trafford.
However Silvano Martina, who represents Vidic, has again refuted claims that his client was keen on sealing a move away from Manchester United.
“It’s not true at all, I don’t know who spread these rumours,” said Martina.
“I never spoke with Roma and haven’t even heard from anyone over the summer.”
Reports suggested earlier in the week that Vidic had agreed a new one-year contract to stay at Manchester United, however the Premier League champions are yet to confirm such a deal.
Vidic, who has played 13 games for Manchester United this season, is expected to start against Cardiff City this weekend.
