Anderson hails Ronaldo as the 'best in the world'

Manchester United midfielder Anderson has lavished praise on Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, saying the Portuguese forward makes 'everything easier' for his teammates.

As reported by Portuguese newspaper A Bola, the Brazilian midfielder paid tribute to the former-Old Trafford superstar on club TV channel MUTV.

Anderson told MUTV: "Ronaldo makes everything easier. On Tuesday, he made three more goals.

"He is a magnificent player, for me, the best in the world."

Earlier this week the Real Madrid star seemed to end Manchester United's hopes of ever bringing the Portugal international back to Old Trafford.

He said he intends to retire at Real Madrid, and having signed a new contract keeping him at the Bernabeu until 2018, it seems a good bet he probably will.

But United boss David Moyes opened the door to a possible return when he told MUTV he'd love to have the opportunity to work with a talent like Ronaldo one day.

United were linked with a mega-bid for the Real Madrid superstar over the summer, but the contract renewal and Ronaldo's recent statements to the media seemed to have ended United's hopes once and for all.

It seems that will not stop United players from talking about the Bernabeu star though, with first Moyes and now Anderson singing his praises.
