Chelsea have been handed a boost ahead of their Champions League clash against Basel after Fernando Torres returned to training following a spell out through injury.
The Spaniard hasn't played for Chelsea since their 2-0 defeat at the hands of Newcastle at the start of the month because of a leg injury.
However he is line to return to action on Tuesday against Basel after taking part in training this morning.
Without Torres, Chelsea have picked up two wins and a draw, scoring eight goals in the process.
Summer signing Samuel Eto'o has filled in for the £50 million forward, and the Cameroonian international got on the scoresheet twice against Schalke in the Champions League.
Chelsea have the chance to cement their place at the top of Group E when they travel to Switzerland this week, but will have to be wary after they fell to a shock defeat against Murat Yakin's side at Stamford Bridge earlier this season.
They have recovered with three wins from three since then, and will guarantee their progress to the knockout stages with a win at St. Jakob-Park.
