It’s the ultimate Premier League debate – who is the greatest striker of all-time?

And, after his brace for Manchester City in yesterday’s 6-0 demolition of Spurs, the answer might just be Sergio Aguero.

If goalscoring is all that matters, then the Argentine superstar is the man for you, with the 25-year-old now boasting a quite stunning minutes-per-goal ratio in the English top flight.

It remains to be seen whether the former Atletico Madrid star can maintain his impressive streak in the EPL, but if he can, then it will be hard to argue that he’s not among the division’s very best.

He’s ahead of some illustrious names in this particular list of players – all of whom are required to have scored 40 goals to make the 'elite' cut.
