Chelsea hope to complete a deal to sign Milton Keynes Dons midfielder Dele Alli, according to West London Sport.

The 17-year-old has been attracting interest from a host of Premier League sides after a number of impressive displays for League One outfit MK Dons.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Manchester United have all been linked with making a move for the England Under-17 starlet.

However Jose Mourinho's Chelsea have reportedly jumped ahead of Manchester United and could make a move for the highly sought-after teenager when the transfer window re-opens in January.

The Blues are said to have an upper hand in trying to secure Alli's signature, as the two sides are in constant discussions due to Chelsea starlet Patrick Bamford's loan spell at MK Dons.

Alli, who has made 20 senior appearances for MK Dons, has scored two goals in 13 games for Karl Robinson's side so far this season.
