Harry Styles meets wrestling legend

Wrestling legend Kurt Angle took time out to meet boy band heartthrob Harry Styles at this past weekend's 1DDay, reports The Sun

The former WWE superstar and Olympic gold medalist Angle met Styles and Liam Payne from One direction as Angle wasn't invited by producers as a surprise guest.

Both the band members are huge wrestling fans and Angle may now have a few more fans across the world.

As 1D were promoting their new album Midnight Memories, the likes of Simon Cowel, Jerry Springer and Piers Morgan all attended the event. However, the man of the day certainly has to be the current TNA superstar.

Perhaps Styles and Angle could now make a dream tag team pairing. However Liam Payne could well go solo in the wrestling business as he challenged Angle to a match on the show and held the TNA World Heavyweight Title.

TNA President Dixie Carter even joked: “Love seeing Liam as MY World Champ. Finally a REAL World Champion.”

1D fans will hope Liam and Harry stick to singing, for now anyway.
