Bale has already scored four goals in eight games for Real Madrid along with collecting five assists, while Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 17 times in 14 games for Madrid, collecting only three assists.
Ronaldo didn't feature last night against Galatasaray, however the fans around the Bernabeu showed their support in hoping that the Portuguese star collects the Ballon D'Or this season, and without the 28-year-old, Real Madrid went on to beat the Turkish team 4-1, with Gareth Bale scoring a 'Ronaldo style' free-kick to give the home team the lead.
But when asked about The Portugal captain, the 24-year-old believes they have a great partnership: "Cristiano's been great to me since I arrived here, and has helped me out a lot. I think the partnership we're creating on the pitch is very positive."
Previously these two have worked well together, especially in Real Madrid's 7-3 home victory against Sevilla, with Bale scoring a brace and assisting two, and Ronaldo netting a hat-trick, a performance which was unstoppable.
But when asked about silverware, the former Tottenham player has ambitions with the club going this season: "My targets are to win La Liga, the Champions league and the Copa Del Rey. For us every tournament that we enter, we should be winning. Hopefully by the end of the seasons we'll have a lot of trophies."
In Madrid's next three games they encounter all three of these competitions, taking on Rayo Vallecano in the league, followed by a Copa Del Rey tie and then their final group game of the Champions League.
