There's been plenty of praise for Andros Townsend of late - and much of it deserved.
He's bright and aggressive, confident carrying the ball forward when others would defer the pass. For England and Spurs he's been a rare positive this season.
But if there's one thing he can't do, it's shoot. Actually, lets re-phrase that because he's not that bad. What he is, is too wasteful, he shoots too often, with too little accuracy.
That stat about Townsend being the least prolific in Europe - yes, that sounds about right. And it got us thinking - who are the other equally wasteful "strikers" in the Premier League.
We say "strikers", but what we actually mean is Premier League players who've taken at least 20 shots this season.
Admittedly, it's not a massive sample size, but it should give us a basic understanding of those who shoot-on-sight, and surrender possession too cheaply.
