Serie A champions Juventus are reportedly set to offer Nani an escape route from Manchester United in January, after making the Portuguese international their top transfer target.
Nani has been persistently linked with Juve in the past 18 months after struggling to find top form at Old Trafford in recent seasons, with new United boss David Moyes also reluctant to offer the winger regular first-team football.
Juve boss Antonio Conte is a long-term admirer of the 27-year-old and feels that he can offer the Old Lady something different in the final third, as they experiment with the idea of switching to a 4-3-3 formation.
The Bianconeri have been without one of their only natural wingers since the end of last season, with Simone Pepe's injury problems showing no sign of ending.
Conte has put Nani on his New Year shopping list as a result and would be happy to take him on an initial six-month loan deal, with a view to a permanent move next summer, according to Sky Sport Italia.
United have so far rejected any advances for the inconsistent winger, underlining their intention to keep Nani on a long-term basis by handing him a new five-year contract in September.
