Arsenal starlet Nico Yennaris has joined Bournemouth on loan deadline day.
The versatile 20-year-old, who can play either at full-back or in midfield, makes the short-term move to the south coast, and will stay with the Cherries until January 2nd.
Yennaris is automatically eligible for Eddie Howe’s side, and could go straight into the squad for the side’s Sky Bet Championship clash against Brighton on Saturday.
The former England U19 international made his debut for the Gunners back in 2011, making a League Cup appearance against Bolton before an FA Cup opportunity against Leeds.
His first Premier League appearance came off the bench against Manchester United in January 2012, before making a loan move to Notts County at the end of that season.
He made a solitary Cup appearance for the Gunners last season, and seems further away from the first team now than when he first came through the club’s academy.
And, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has decided to give the youngster a chance to play some senior football in the second tier.
