5. Bale v Norwich City - Premier League

Football News
24/7

At number five is the goal against Norwich City in the Premier league, where Bale took matters into his own hands to grab an equaliser.

With the match approaching the final ten minutes of the game, Andre Villas Boas decided to move Bale into the middle of the park, much to the surprise of the team. But seconds later Bale took the match into his own hands.

The winger picking up the ball in his own half, powered his way through the middle of the park, keeping his balance after Alexander Tettey tried to hack the Welshman down, the 24-year-old then ran straight at Javier Garrido, backing him towards his own goal with close control.

Bale then cut in on his left foot, and with two Norwich players closing in on the game changer, he fired a shot into the bottom corner, before being clattered by centre-back Michael Turner.

The passion in his celebration showed the frustration and relief this goal gave Bale and his fellow team-mates.
