Top 5: Shock signings that should happen...but won't (6)

Barcelona | Iker Casillas

It would be the ultimate betrayal.

Iker Casillas, the Real Madrid legend that is, leaving the club to join El Clasico rivals Barcelona in the search for first team football.

But if Casillas' situation at the Bernabeu doesn't change - he is currently sitting on the bench behind Diego Lopez - he should move and Barcelona would be the perfect place.

Barcelona themselves are in desperate need of a new goalkeeper as Victor Valdes is getting ready to leave when his contract expires in the summer.

The Spanish captain would come in to the only other Spanish team more likely to win trophies than Real Madrid.

As one of the best goalkeepers in the world he deserves to be at one of the best clubs and Barcelona can give him the home he warrants.

It could spark a bit of unrest, possibly a lot of unrest, but these kind of transfers have happened in the past - Luis Figo - and will happen again.
