Which Premier League club boasts the best 5-a-side team? (1)

Published 4 Comments

Visit any Premier League training ground up and down the country and you can guarantee that the drill that all players look forward to most is the mini game of 5-a-side at the end of the session.

An opportunity for defenders to get in on the goalscoring action, and goalkeepers to show off their outfield attributes, the small-sided game soon separates the men from the boys, with extra emphasis placed on speed, skill, movement and close control.

Elite level squads are so big these days, that clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur all now have enough players to field three or four top quality 5-a-side teams, so it makes it even more intriguing when trying to pick each side's ultimate 'A' team.

Based on a 1-2-1 formation - plus a goalkeeper - GiveMeSport has picked a five-star line-up for each of the aforementioned teams, and it's down to you to decide which is the best!

Click through the tabs - above or below - to see which players made the cut, and tell us your preferred 5-a-side team in the comment box at the bottom of the article!
