It seems as though the age-old Lionel Messi v Cristiano Ronaldo debate has reached it's logical conclusion.

Of course we're not talking about real life but a FIFA 14 mock-up of the pair coming to blows.

The brand new Playstation 4 launched this week to much fanfare and since then, videos from the new FIFA 14 game have been cropping up all over the place.

In this video the pair, consistently battling it out for the right to be called the best player in the world, are involved in a violent on-pitch brawl that ends with the Real Madrid man sending his Barcelona rival flying across the pitch.

It puts a new spin on the Messi v Ronaldo debate, right?

Fans may have to wait for quite some time for this to become a reality, so in the meantime check out Ronaldo landing a knockout punch on Messi in the video above!
