Revenge is a dish best served cold, and that is exactly how Russell Westbrook avenged his state against the Warriors.
Oklahoma City Thunder took on Golden State Warriors as two top flight teams in the western conference gave it their all to come out with a win. The Thunder came out hungry as they've ever been, reminiscing about the last time these two faced.
The last times the teams met, we saw Westbrook hit a deep three with 2.3 seconds left but it wasn't good enough to keep the Warriors down. On the following play, Iguodala received the ball from the inbound and hit a turn around two pointer which saw the Warriors take the game by one point.
This time around, Westbrook made sure to hit his three pointer later on in the clock, with less ticks to go. After Ibaka missed the mid range jumper, OKC showed tremendous hustle to get the ball back and with a millisecond left on the clock, Westbrook hit the jumper.
The rivalry between the Thunder and the Warriors is heating up. Two games have gone down to the last second and I'm sure everyone around the league is starting to enjoy the encounters between these two teams.
