Los Angeles Galaxy coach Bruce Arena says that stars Robbie Keane and Landon Donovan will not be returning to the Premier League on loan during the off-season in America.
Last season Keane spent two months at Aston Villa whilst team-mate Donovan has previously been on loan at Everton during both 2010 and 2012.
The regular Major League Soccer season runs from just March to October, making short-term loan moves a real possibility, they have become a routine thing in previous seasons, although this year it isn't going to happen.
"They've had a full 11 months of play and need some time off, then need to get back to LA," said Arena.
The much-travelled senior Republic of Ireland striker Keane joined Galaxy from Tottenham back in August 2011, while Donovan has been with the Los Angeles club since 2005.
Both players featured alongside David Beckham when the Galaxy won the Cup final in 2011 and all three were part of the team that successfully won the title once again last December.
Donovan was said to have wanted a third spell at Everton, however boss Arena has said no and insists: "Our players aren't going anywhere."
Donovan will instead spend his January in a training camp with the US national team, alongside team-mate Omar Gonzalez as their side prepare for next year's World Cup finals.
"Our players have had a really tough run this year, in particular Robbie and Omar with all their requirements with national teams," added Arena.
"They need to get back here to LA and be ready for a challenging campaign that includes in the beginning not only the league but the [Concacaf] Champions League."
