In part six, we looked at the possibility of the legendary Hulk Hogan returning for another match. In this next part, we look at the possibility of another legend, Stone Cold Steve Austin, returning at WrestleMania 30.

CM Punk vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin

There are no two men in the history of professional wrestling who are more different. CM Punk is a straight edge superstar, meaning he doesn't drink or smoke. Steve Austin on the other hand, is a beer drinker whose signature celebration during the Attitude Era was to drink two cans of beer.

However, this is not a gimmick; both men follow the same lifestyle as their character on WWE TV does. That makes this one of the biggest dream matches in the history of wrestling.

Despite leading such opposing lifestyles in reality, their characters have many similarities. Both characters are extremely outspoken and truly became stars when they cut worked shoots.

Stone Cold finally arrived when he cut his famous ‘Austin 316’ shoot promo on Jake Roberts after winning the King of the Ring competition. CM Punk became a true main-eventer after his ‘Pipebomb’ promo, which has now gone done in history as one of the best moments in Monday Night RAW history.

If Stone Cold was to return for another match, it would take place at WrestleMania 30 and it would be against CM Punk. Will the match happen?

I believe it is possible, especially since WWE booked John Cena vs. Randy Orton for the TLC pay-per-view, meaning they will have to book a huge dream match at WrestleMania. Stone Cold has said he’s open to a return and CM Punk would love to face Austin at WrestleMania.

The WWE would love to be able to book this match for their biggest show ever and fans would be chomping at the bit to see this match.
