Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly has suggested Nick Foles will be the team's quarterback for the next 1,000 years, reports cbssports.
Of course this may be just slightly unrealistic, however the Eagles coach has lavished the ultimate praise on his star and insisted that he's his No.1 QB.
Foles has been in impressive form of late for the Eagles as he currently holds the highest QB rating in the NFL.
The Eagles star is also closing in on Peyton Manning's record of 20 touchdown passes without an interception at the start of the season. Foles is currently sitting on 19 and could overtake Manning when the Eagles take on the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
When speaking to reporters, Kelly said: "He's the starting quarterback for the next 1,000 years here."
With Foles' sensational performances for the Eagles, the team will now be hoping to secure their fifth straight win in the NFC Eastern Division when they take on the Lions.
It certainly looks extremely likely that Foles will start for the Eagles this weekend.
