One of the world's best amateurs Dante Exum is in the middle of discussing representation for the 2014 NBA draft, reports Yahoo! Sports.
The 6 foot 6 inch guard and his family are in the middle of setting up meetings with prominent agents from a number of North American firms believed to be taking place in December and January.
Agents involved in the process are confident that 18 year old Exum will turn pro and that he will relocate to the United States as early as February to start upping his fitness ahead of the June draft.
"I want to make a decision by February," Exum told the Sydney Morning Herald on Monday. "It shouldn't be too hard [a decision] to make."
Exum is rated as the number four prospect in the world by Draftexpress.com, behind only Kansas' Andrew Wiggins, Kentucky's Julius Randle and Duke's Jabari Parker.
Yahoo! Sports is also claiming that a major college coach, who tried to convince Exum to come to the United States for a season of college basketball, believes Exum will be a part of the 2014 draft.
College basketball runs in the family with Exum's father, Cecil, once playing for the University of North Carolina as well as the National Basketball League of Australia.
Exum is currently a student at the Australian Institute of Sport and was scouted by a number of NBA representatives at the recent FIBA under-19 Championships.
