Chelsea may wait until the summer before making a move for Porto striker Jackson Martinez, reports The Metro.
The forward has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge of late, however with Blues boss Jose Mourinho insisting the club will stick with Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Samuel Eto'o until the end of the season, it now appears any move for Martinez will wait until the summer.
The 27-year-old has been in impressive form for the Portuguese outfit and had been expected to cost the Blues around £33 million.
Chelsea also have striker Romelu Lukaku on their books and he's expected to come into the squad before the start of last season. The Belgian ace has currently been impressing on loan at Everton in this campaign.
And if the Chelsea boss can complete a move for Martinez in the summer, Mourinho could well have Lukaku and the current Porto striker in his ranks next season.
The likes of Torres, Ba and Eto'o may all be sweating on their futures at the Stamford Bridge outfit if Martinez is brought into the club.
