Arsenal and Chelsea could fight it out for the signature of Paris Saint-Germain starlet Adrien Rabiot if reports in the French press are to be believed.

Le 10 Sport, citing Le Parisien, suggests that both clubs have been impressed with the teenage sensation, who has also been on the radar at Tottenham.

Following a good start to the campaign in the PSG fold, Rabiot has rose to prominence around Europe and has subsequently been linked with a number of moves away from the Parc des Princes.

Spurs were thought to be in pole position in the race for the youngster- who it is believed is sceptical about his chances of garnering regular game time at his current club- but now Chelsea and Arsenal have muscled their way in, with Blues boss Jose Mourinho said to be particularly fascinated after scouting the player.

Rabiot is under contract with the French champions until 2015, and Laurent Blanc will no doubt want to retain his services if possible.

The only definite outcome at this stage however is a Premier League transfer tussle between two of England's biggest clubs.
