It’s a bit like asking someone were they ‘Blur or Oasis? In the early 2000s, both were fantastic in their own right and great to watch live.

The football rivalry equivalent at the same time was of course: ‘Roy Keane or Patrick Vieira?’

The former Manchester United and Arsenal captains will go head-to-head once more in a new documentary: “Keane & Vieira – Best of Enemies,” which will be aired on ITV4 next Tuesday.

During the documentary the two men will sit face-to-face to tell each other exactly how they saw events at the time - and their thoughts looking back on it now.

The two captains competed many times on and off the pitch – including the famous ‘Battle of Old Trafford’ in 2003 and their tunnel bust-up at Highbury in 2005.

In what many consider to be the last great football rivalry, this much anticipated documentary should make for some compelling viewing.

“Keane & Vieira – Best of Enemies” will be aired on ITV4 at 10pm, Tuesday 10 December 2013.
