Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade has remained somewhat uneasy over his future past the end of the present season, according to YahooSport.
Only last week LA Lakers star Kobe Bryant put pen to paper on a lucrative new two year deal that will see him earn around $48.5m in total, and the extension has thrown up some serious questions concerning the rest of the NBA clubs and their star players.
Technically speaking Wade, along with the Heat's other biggest stars- LeBron James and Chris Bosh- could choose to opt out of their current contracts at the end of the season and earn considerably more on a new deal.
The likelihood of the trio doing this is of course heightened by the fact that Miami have won back to back titles with them in the side and are currently on course for a third.
But D-Wade remained coy on his own future at the franchise, refusing to confirm that he would be seeking a giant contract alike to the one Bryant received.
"When I get into that position, it’s something I’ll think about,” Wade said.
“You have to sit down at the time and see what is best for you and for your team.”
