Stunning bicycle-kick voted 2013 MLS goal of the season

Vancouver Whitecaps' star Camilo Sanvezzo has scooped the prize for the best MLS goal in 2013 with his stunning scissor kick against the Portland Timbers.

The 25-year-old enjoyed a sensational 2013 and scooped the Golden Boot award with 22 goals - although is efforts weren't enough to help his side into the play-offs.

The Whitecaps' appeared to have missed their chance to score after an overhit cross from the left fell to Y.P Lee out wide on the right.

His ball into the box wasn't great either, but Sanvezzo, sensing an opportunity for something spectacular, contorted his bod and sent an stoppable scissor kick into the back of the net.

The Brazilian claimed 47 percent of the fan vote to scoop the prize, ahead of Portland's Diego Valeri, whose sublime solo effort polled 30 percent of the votes.

Juan Agudelo and former Arsenal ace Thierry Henry, now with New York Red Bulls, complete the top four.
