Monaco have warned Chelsea that they can only have Colombian striker Radamel Falcao for under £80 million if they exchange either Fernando Torres or Demba Ba, reports The Daily Star.
Falcao has constantly been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge despite only joining the Ligue 1 outfit this past summer and despite being linked with a loan move away from the club, it now appears that the French side will only let him go for a mega transfer fee.
And with Jose Mourinho reportedly ready to change his options in attack, the Portuguese tactician could now be tempted to make a move for the hitman.
However, if he's not willing to stump up the £80m fee that the Ligue 1 outfit are asking for, then the Chelsea boss may well have to include either Torres or Ba in the deal.
Both Torres and Ba have had inconsistent seasons at Chelsea so far in this campaign and Mourinho could now be tempted to let one of them go as he looks to bring Falcao to the club.
Chelsea could also be rivalled by Spanish giants Real Madrid for the signing of the Colombian ace.
