David Moyes: Found out at Manchester United?

After Alex Ferguson's departure from the United's manager position this summer, everyone knew that he would be leaving huge, titanic shoes to fill.

David Moyes was favourite for the role from the beginning, a fellow Scot like Ferguson, and was hand picked by his predecessor.

Since taking over at the helm at United, Moyes has not yet had the successes fans have been accustomed to seeing during Ferguson's reign.

After 14 games played this season, United are situated in 9th place, some 12 points off Arsenal at the top. As it stands they have won only 6 games out of the 14 played, drawing 4 and losing 4.

Moyes has suffered defeat at the hands of both Merseyside clubs, West Brom and most disappointingly for the fans, a crushing 4-1 defeat at rivals Manchester City.

United no longer appear to be the much feared team that they once were.

Is David Moyes the right man for the job? If not, is there anyone else the fans would rather have? Will the fans be expecting success in the Premier League this season, or will they allow Moyes the time he needs to build his own United legacy?
