Epic fan fail! Backheel goes bad

A Danish Superliga clash between Nordsjaelland and Randers earlier this week produced a prime example of fan participation gone wrong, when an attempted backheel left the supporter in question red-faced and a future figure of fun across the globe.

I'll set the scene, an unfortunate fan has darted off in search of refreshment, coming back with drinks in hand ready to reclaim a prime spot just behind the goal.

With his hands full with a phone call and carrying drinks our poor spectator should have left a shot deflected over the crossbar and into his path, but that wouldn't be any fun now would it?

His effort to backheel the ball towards the pitch was pretty lacklustre, with a flick at fresh air leading to the ball taking a cruel ricochet that smashed the poor fellow's drinks to the ground.

See the epic fail in all its glory as our Danish dangerman pays the price for a poorly-time backheel above.
