Manchester United could lose left-back Patrice Evra to Ligue 1 moneybags Monaco, according to the Daily Mail.
The French side are keen on bringing the Manchester United star back to Stade Louis II next summer.
France international Evra spent four years at Monaco before sealing a £5.5million move to Old Trafford in January 2006.
The 32-year-old was reported to have said in October that he would not be extending his current contract - which runs out at the end of the season - due to what he described as a 'personal thing'.
The Frenchman said a week later that he loved Manchester United but did not deny claims he was set to leave Old Trafford.
Manchester United manager David Moyes may decide to let Evra leave on a free in the summer, as he has already highlighted the left full-back area as a position he needs to strengthen.
The Scotsman tried to sign both England full-back Leighton Baines and Real Madrid star Fabio Coentrao in the summer - but failed to convince the Toffees into selling the former and narrowly missed out on signing the latter.
