The Chicago Bulls were, as has become customary, at their scintillating best against the Miami Heat last night as they romped to a 107-87 victory away from home.
The hosts were looking to bounce back from a surprise loss against the Detroit Pistons, but found themselves unable to stop the rot as they succumbed to a second consecutive defeat.
Regular guard Dwayne Wade was again ruled out for the Heat, this time due to illness, but in truth they were well and truly outplayed by the Bulls, who came out as though they had a point to prove.
LeBron James managed 21 points and Michael Beasley scored 15 off the bench, but it wasn't enough to prevent their opponents striding to a comfortable victory.
Luol Deng ended up with 20 points for the Bulls, with forward Taj Gibson getting 19, and center Joakim Noah amassing an impressive 17 points and 15 rebounds.
But it was Carlos Boozer who stole the show last night, ultimately bagging 27 points to consign the Heat to a disappointing loss.
Despite the result the Miami franchise remain top of the Southeast division, whilst the Bulls sit third in the Central.
