Stoke v Chelsea: Predicted Line-up & score

Published Add your comment

Chelsea will look to maintain their title challenge this weekend when they travel to the Britannia Stadium to take on Stoke.

The Blues claimed a hard-fought win against Sunderland in mid-week and will likely change things up for the trip north in order to ensure as many fresh legs as possible for the busy Christmas period.

A knee injury is still hindering David Luiz, meaning he'll miss out - but Oscar is back in contention.

Samuel Eto'o is also back after picking up a groin injury against Basel in the Champions League.

Chelsea haven't lost against Stoke in the league since 1975 - and have won their last three encounters against the Potters by an aggregate score of 6-0.

For Stoke, Erik Pieters is a major doubt. Boss Mark Hughes admitted earlier today this his side may struggle against Chelsea because of the "embarrassment of riches" they possess, and believes it will be hard to predict their line-up because of that very reason.

Chelsea predicted team to face Stoke: Cech, Azpilcueta, Terry Cahill, Lampard, Ramires, Hazard, Oscar, Schurrle, Torres

Score prediction: Stoke 1-3 Chelsea
