Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is set to sell star trio Demba Ba, Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto'o, in order to improve the scoring capabilities of his front-line, according to the Daily Star.
The three Blues' strikers have been largely disappointing this campaign and have only managed a poultry four goals between them in the Premier League.
And if reports are to be believed then the Special One is far from happy with the return of his forwards, to the point where he is considering parting ways with all of them in a sensational move that could see a dramatic overhaul take place at Stamford Bridge.
Rumours suggest that Mourinho will approach Roman Abramovich in a bid to get money for the January transfer window, but is blaming his misfiring strikers for Chelsea's inability to provide a real challenge for league leaders Arsenal.
Following a dreary 3-2 defeat at the hands of Stoke City, Mourinho said: "If you tell me Sergio Aguero has scored already 10 or 12 goals, Alvaro Negredo 10 or 12 goals, Edin Dzeko four or five, Wayne Rooney eight or 10, Olivier Giroud eight or 10, Daniel Sturridge eight or 10, Luis Suarez 10 or 12 and ask me would I like my strikers to score eight,10, 12 goals, yes of course.
"If we had eight,10,12 goals from the strikers, we would be top of the league. That’s a reality."
It's remains to be seen whether not the Portuguese coach will make good on his threat to axe Torres, Ba and Eto'o, but one thing is for certain; there is going to be changes at the west London club during in the winter transfer window.
