Chelsea are looking to secure their place at the top of Champions League Group E with victory over Steaua Bucharest tonight (Wednesday).

Jose Mourinho's side have endured an indifferent campaign thus far, winning three times but losing twice. Those losses will quickly be forgotten if things go right at Stamford Bridge however, and veteran Petr Cech will look for an improvement in form between the sticks.

In defence, Ashley Cole is set to return at left-back, whilst Brazilian centre back David Luiz is also fit for selection. He could partner Chelsea captain John Terry, whilst Branislav Ivanovic will slot in on the right hand side.

Ramires and Frank Lampard has been a favoured combination in defensive-midfield for the Blues in Europe, whilst Oscar is fit to return in the more advanced central role after recovering from a knee injury.

However, the Chelsea boss is unlikely to risk the Brazilian from the start, leaving Eden Hazard, Juan Mata and Andre Schurrle likely to continue as the forward-thinking trio.

Up-front, 'the special one' has options, with Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Samuel Eto'o all fit and available. Having not featured at the weekend, it's the Cameroonian who can expect to get the nod.

Chelsea predicted line-up v Steaua Bucharest:

Cech; Ivanovic, Terry, Luiz, Cole; Ramires, Lampard; Hazard, Mata, Schurrle; Eto'o.
