Dwayne Wade returns for the Heat

Dwayne Wade last night allayed fears that he had sustained an injury during Miami Heat's victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday, by turning out against the Indiana Pacers.

There had been speculation that Wayde, who has a long history of physical problems surrounding his knee, had picked up a knock after clashing with Kevin Martin.

This was heightened when the Heat star missed the match the following evening against the Detroit Pistons- with some reports rumouring that he was unable to play, as opposed to simply being rested.

However Wayde took to the court for the Heat and, despite the fact that his franchise lost the match 90-84, the 31-year-old showed no signs of the plaguing knee troubles that have hampered his career thus far.

The news will most certainly be welcomed by fans of the Heat, as they cheer their organisation on towards a historic three-peat.

Next up for Wayde and co. are the Cleveland Cavaliers this Saturday.
