Want-away midfielder Kevin de Bruyne could be given an escape from Stamford Bridge by Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg, according to German newspaper Kicker.
Wolfsburg are monitoring the attacking midfielder and are interested in taking the 22-year-old on loan for the remainder of the season.
The Belgium international is reported to want a move to find first-team football ahead of the World Cup next summer.
De Bruyne has only made seven appearances for Chelsea so far this season after being signed in January 2012, and spent last season out on loan at Werder Bremen.
Jose Mourinho recently assured De Bruyne of more first-team football but the Belgium playmaker is reported to be interested in leaving Chelsea permanently, according to Belgian newspaper Sportwereld.
De Bruyne's first stint in the Bundesliga proved successful as he notched up 10 goals and nine assists in 33 appearance for Bremen. The Chelsea midfielder is also considered an important part of the Belgium setup having been given 18 senior caps.
The player may want a long term move from Chelsea but might have to settle with another loan stint to maintain his ambition of World Cup Final football.
