James Milner has claimed that Manchester City do not fear any of the teams left in the Champions League.
City made it through to the last 16 of the competition after finishing second in their group, missing out on top spot by one goal despite beating Bayern Munich 3-2 in Germany.
This leaves them with the likelihood of facing one of Europe's biggest teams such as Real Madrid, Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Milner claims that this would not worry the City dressing room.
"It couldn't be any tougher than this," he told Sky Sports. "Bayern are the reigning champions and have been to three finals in the last four years. They are obviously one of the top teams and have been for the last few years, so to come here and win is pleasing and, hopefully, shows the quality we have and gives us a big confidence boost going forward.
"We'll take anyone in the next round. We'll just concentrate on us."
The draw for the last 16 is to be made on Monday, with all four English teams still in the competition.
