As reported in France, Real Madrid star Iker Casillas would be open to a move to Arsenal at the end of the current season if his situation at the Bernabeu doesn't improve.
Le 10 Sport, citing Spanish source El Confidencial, is claiming that the Spanish stopper is content to stay with Madrid until the culmination of the current campaign, but will then assess his options according to whether or not he feels he can reclaim his No.1 spot.
Casillas suffered an injury last season which allowed Diego Lopez a run of games in the starting XI and, despite having fully recovered from the problem, he has been unable to force his way into Carlo Ancelotti's plans.
Speculation has subsequently heightened regarding the Spain captain's future, with particular emphasis having been placed on the fact that it is a World Cup year.
However now it seems that Casillas is willing to wait until the end of the campaign to decide what he wants to do, rather than making a shock switch in the January transfer window.
Arsene Wenger is believed to have retained an interest in the 'keeper, although current Arsenal No.1 Wojciech Szczęsny has improved his form this year.
