Neymar became the tenth Brazilian player to score a hat-trick in the Champions League last night, after firing his first Barcelona treble in the 6-1 demolition of Celtic at Camp Nou.

The 21-year-old ensured Tata Martino's side qualified top of Group H, after a dominant win against their Scottish opponents on Wednesday evening.

In the absence of Lionel Messi, Neymar was given central striking responsibility, and he repaid the faith in emphatic style, scoring three times in the space of just 13 minutes, to record the fourth fastest hat-trick in the competition's history.

The €57million summer signing from Santos also became the first ever player to net trebles in both the Champions League and the Copa de Libertadores.

"This has been a happy night for me and for the team because of the result we've managed to produce," Neymar was quoted saying after the game by UEFA.com.

"It was important to me to get off the mark as a goalscorer in the Champions League, and of course it's a fantastic feeling to do it with a hat-trick."

In tribute to the Barcelona star, GiveMeSport decided to take a walk down memory lane and recall each of the other nine Brazilian players that - like Neymar - have netted Champions League trebles.
