The World Cup always serves up a group of death and, this time, England could be in it. Roy Hodgson's side will be playing against the likes of Andrea Pirlo andLuis Suárez in Brazil having been drawn alongside Italy, Uruguay and Costa Rica.
England might say that they deserved this after their pretty poor qualifying campaign which did see them win their group, but just in the last game and to be honest, despite relatively straightforward opposition.
Due to some of England's slightly poor performances, they have taken quite a decline in the FIFA rankings over the last year going from a record third place in August 2012, all the way to 13th after the latest international games.
England just played two friendlies against Chile and Germany and succumbed to defeat in both, which has hardly provided much optimism ahead of Brazil.
