New York Knicks star Raymond Felton will be out of action for two to three weeks, reports ESPN.
The point guard has strained his left hamstring and will now spend a period on the sidelines after an MRI was taken on Thursday.
The Knicks will now have to turn to the likes of Pablo Prigioni and Beno Udrih as they look to fill in at point guard.
The Knicks picked up a crucial win in their last outing as they beat the Chicago Bulls 83-78 at Madison Square Garden.
And without the injured Felton they will now be hoping to put together back-to-back wins as they take on the Boston Celtics this weekend.
They will be desperate to beat the Celtics who are in a poor run of form themselves after losing to the Brooklyn Nets and the Los Angeles Clippers in their last two outings.
Meanwhile The Knicks will be hoping Felton recovers as soon as possible.
