Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has taken part in a web-chat with fans from Hong Kong and has revealed that teammate Ryan Giggs is his main role model as a footballer. 

The video, which has been released on Wayne Rooney's official Facebook page, gave fans the opportunity to ask the forward a number of questions. 

And when Rooney was asked who is greatest role model in football was, the England international revealed that it was his teammate and coach Ryan Giggs.

When discussing Giggs, Rooney told the fans: "He's still playing every week, training every day. He's a great role model for us all to look up to, so I would probably say him." 

Rooney has enjoyed great success with Giggs over the years at the Red Devils and the Welsh international remains a key member of United's side.

And the inform Manchester United striker also revealed that he enjoys playing golf, however admitted that he would like to be better at the sport. 

The Red Devils forward finished by asking the fans a number of questions as he gave away some of his own merchandise.
