Manchester United midfielder suffers injury setback

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is likely to miss his side's Premier League fixture against Aston Villa with a back injury, according to the Press Association.

The Belgium international has missed Manchester United's last two fixtures - against Newcastle and Shakhtar Donetsk - through injury.

And Moyes has confirmed that the former Everton central midfielder could miss Manchester United's trip against Aston Villa on Sunday.

The 26-year-old, who is also said to be struggling with a wrist injury, has received yet another setback in his Manchester United career.

Fellaini, who moved to Manchester United from Everton for £27.5million on deadline day, has failed to replicate the impressive form he showed at Goodison Park since moving to Old Trafford.

The 6ft 4in powerhouse has failed to hold down a regular place in David Moyes' side in recent weeks - with the Manchester United boss instead often choosing to play the likes of Phil Jones, Tom Cleverley and Ryan Giggs in the heart of the Premier League champions' midfield.
