Cristian Tello has revealed that he will not be leaving Barcelona in January - but will consider his future at the end of the season, reports talkSPORT

The Catalans forward, who has been linked with a move to Premier League duo Liverpool and Tottenham, has struggled for opportunities at the Nou Camp so far this season.

However, despite having only been given limited opportunities in La Liga, Tello will wait until the end of the season before deciding his future.

When speaking about his future, Tello said: "I'm young, I want to play and to enjoy. If it is not possible at this club, I will consider an exit at the end of the season.

"I am thrilled to be where I am, grateful to the club and everyone and now I can only take advantage of any opportunities."

This will come as a blow to both Liverpool and Tottenham who had been linked with a January move for the Spanish star.

Liverpool are looking for more options in the forward areas as Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez have been their main source of goals in this campaign.

Tottenham and Liverpool may now return for the player in the summer, however their immediate attentions will turn to this weekend's Premier League clash.

Both sides go head-to-head at White Hart Lane in which should be an entertaining game on Sunday afternoon.
