Monaco owner Dmitry Rybololev would consider offers around the €100m mark for Radamel Falcao, according to French newspaper Le 10 Sport.
Clearly designed to warn off interest from Chelsea, the report claims Monaco would only contemplate selling the Colombian international for double the €50m they paid for him over the summer.
Only just today Falcao reconfirmed his desire to stay in France with the Ligue 1 club, quashing the speculation that continues to link him with a move to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have been long-term admirers of the former-Atletico Madrid striker, and even reportedly came close to signing him twice in his days back in Spain.
But Le 10 Sport claims only a world record offer would tempt Rybololev to part with his marquee summer signing.
And considering Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho was not willing to part with €50m over the summer to sign Falcao, it seems extremely unlikely that he'd be willing to spend something close to double that figure just six months later.
Chelsea are expected to explore their options regarding a January move for a new striker, with Samuel Eto'o, Fernando Torres and Demba Ba all struggling to find top form at Stamford Bridge this term.
