Manchester United have enquired about the availability of Brazilian starlet Otavinho, reports the Sunday People.
The 18-year-old midfielder - who currently plays for Internacional - is widely regarded as a star of the future in South America, following a series of impressive performances back in his homeland.
Red Devils boss David Moyes has been credited with an interest in bringing the 18-year-old to Old Trafford, and could step up his pursuit of the talented teenager when the transfer window reopens in January.
Otavinho has scored eight goals in just 21 first-team appearances, since making his Internacional debut in May 2013.
It's a promising goals return for an attacking midfielder, who is similar in playing style to Chelsea star Oscar, and would help fill the creative void currently evident in Manchester United's senior team.
Kevin Strootman and Alex Teixeira have also been identified as potential reinforcements at the turn of the year, but Moyes's admiration for Otavinho is real, and might result in a move to the Premier League champions in the future.
