The Kansas City Chiefs ran out convincing winners over the Oakland Raiders with a 56-31 win propelling them in to the playoffs.
It was a case of Charles in charge for the Chiefs as running back Jamaal Charles scored five touchdowns.
Knile Davis, Eric Berry and Sean McGrath complete the touchdown list.
The Raiders put up a valiant effort though. Sebastian Janikowski chipped in with a field goal in the first quarter while Menelik Watson and Rashad Jennings helped out with a touchdown each in the second.
Andre Holmes and Mychal Rivera rounded off the scoring for the Raiders who have had a poor showing this season and will look to bounce back when they visit the San Diego Chargers next weekend.
But for the Chiefs, their fantastic season continues and they will hope that they can continue this great run of form into the playoffs and pull off one of the greatest upsets of all time by bringing home the Super Bowl trophy for only the second time in the franchise's history.
This will be made even more special by the fact that the Chiefs are now only the fourth team to reach the playoffs having lost 14 or more games in the previous season.
