Manchester City's talismanic striker Sergio Aguero could be out for six weeks after picking up an injury during Saturday's Premier League clash against Arsenal.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Citizens will today discover how serious Aguero's calf injury actually is - with fears he could be out for six weeks.
Kun Aguero scored his 19th goal in 20 games this term, but limped off from the Etihad Stadium in the 47th minute with his right leg encased in a protective plastic boot cast from the knee down.
Aguero was unable to carry on and boss Manuel Pellegrini said a scan will reveal the seriousness of his injury.
If the Citizens's worst fears are confirmed, and Aguero has a second or third degree muscle tear, the Argentine international will face a six-week lay off.
Despite his importance, Aguero will probably be given as much time as possible to recover fully, even if this means losing him for a week or two more.
Aguero will most probably miss the matches against Swansea, Liverpool, Fulham, Crystal Palace and the FA Cup game against Blackburn Rovers.
Yet the striker will most probably be fully fit for Manchester City's Champions League clashes against Barcelona in February and March.
Wish Kun Aguero a speedy recover in the comments box below!
