Thierry Henry

Henry's rise from frustratingly inconsistent and unsettled Juventus outcast to Arsenal and Premier League icon is quite breathtaking.

During an unhappy period in Serie A, the legendary Frenchman was utilised on the flank and never got the opportunity to demonstrate his obvious goalscoring prowess.

After Arsene Wenger showed faith in him and brought him to Highbury in 1999, however, he was given the freedom and the luxury required to unleash his devastating ability.

In a hugely successful initial eight-year spell in North London, Henry became the third-top scorer in Premier League history with 176.
